What a cute Family

Some of my projects I have been working on

For the last couple of months , I have not been able to sit still. So I have gotten several projects done ! I have been having so much fun!!! I decided I didnt like my Kitchen Table so Instead of buying a new one , I just experimented with some crackle paint . I love it . Then my friend told me about this amazing stuff that you can paint right on top of your counter tops. So I had to play with that too! My kitchen looks so good .... other than the ugly white sink... but dont worry the sink is on its way !! Then I decided to change my front room a little so I put a Rug down that was my sisters ( thanks Ruth ) then I decided it needed a coffee table . So I bought one for $10 and again decided to refinish it ! My friend helped me, and I love it .... we painted it white, then we sanded the edges and stained it , and sealed it !!! love love love it ! during that prosses I decided to add a fresh paint job and make the wall with the window a light brown color ! Its now my new favorite room ! HMM now what should I do??? Here are all the pictures , Oh ya and I found this bed frame in my Dads garage That I refinished for Josh , and I also refinished his dresser to match. And my dad is making me some frames so I can do a fun little CRAFT with his middle name above his bed. I cant wait .... thanks DAD!

Josh's New pet

Josh got a new pet ..... His name is " Monty Good Eater Josh Hudson Python " But we just call him Monty!!! He is a Male Pastel Ball Python . He will get 4 ft long at the very most ! He is the calmest snake I have ever seen ! He passed the TY TY test perfectly , and by that I mean Ty grabbed his body pretty hard , and Monty did not bite him ! LOL we knew then that we had found a great snake ! It is so funny to me that the stinking snake has a personality ! We can tell when he is grumpy , wants to be held , and wants to eat ! Josh and all his friends and cousins think that Feeding Time is the coolest thing ever !! pictures of feeding time to come later ! just kidding !! thats where I draw the line !

The rest of Autism Awareness Month

Day 23...Ty likes to feel secure, Autistic children feel like there bodies are all over the place. I made a special weighted blanket that has pelets in it, he can not sleep without it!

Day 24...Ty loves to control people, he grabs your hand and pulls or pushes you to where he wants you , this is also his way of comunicating what he wants.

Day 25...The best way to calm Ty down , is bath time. He loves water!!

Day 26...If Ty falls down and crys , he is usually crying because he droped his toy, not because he is hurt !

Day 27...Ty can not stand strong smells , like if someone has too much perfume on , he has a major melt down.

Day 28...Ty does something called stimming, he will find a small object and become extreamly focused on it and nothing else.

Day 29...Ty likes to touch faces , he loves to rub his daddy's face when he has not shaved

Day 30...last day of Autism month, I just wanted to say how much I love Ty and I am so grateful that he is in my life to teach me every day what genuine love is, and Although we can have our hard times the wonderful progress is well worth it , and I wouldnt change a thing, thank you to everyone on FB that left comments It was so fun to bring Awareness to everyone each day !

day 15... when ty is happy he does his very cute "happy dance"
day 16... Ty gets sensory overload, and no matter what we are doing or where we are , we have to leave and get him out of the situation !
day 17...we always have to sit on the left side by the wall at church, so ty can rub the wall. he likes the texture
day 18... Ty knocks on everything , not sure why he does this , but he does it all the time. once he knocked on a kid and the kid looked up at me and back to ty , and said " come in "
day 19...Ty loves sand, he gets big handfulls and pours it on his head
day 20... Ty will most likely be in diapers for several more years. the average for potty training an Autistic child is 7 years old.
day 21...Ty has a hard time with transitions, sometimes it can take an hour for him to switch from one activity to the next.
day 22...yesterday at lunch ty was licking the bbq off the bbq chips , and then he put them back in the bag ! lol

day 6 .... Ty will start laughing his head off for no obvious reason day 7.... Ty Ty loves toys with teeth , alagators, sharks, and dinosaurs. day 8.... Ty loves deep pressure massages and joint compressions. it helps calm his body down day 9....Ty does not speak , a lot of kiddos with autism don't day 10.... Ty makes very loud and unique noises, everyone knows when we are or are not at church. day 11....Ty needs routine, he gets upset when we change things up day 12.... Ty averages between 4-6 hours of sleep a night, and it takes him hours to fall asleep! poor thing just can't calm his body down. day 13...when going to a new place ty will walk in continual circles around the area, untill he is regulated and comfortable. day 14.... when Ty is mad he will usually bite the dinosaur in his hand , or anything he can sink his teeth into, the wall, the couch , the pillow , and sometimes me !
